Finding Worth in God: Insights from Eagle Awakening Retreat
This year’s Eagle Awakening Retreat, hosted annually by USM Eagle Catholic, was one of the most impactful and faith-filled experiences I’ve ever been a part of. Centered around 1 Corinthians 3:17 “For the temple of God, which you are, is holy” the weekend focused on recognizing our worth in God’s eyes and the beauty of community rooted in faith. As the retreat chair, I had the honor of leading and witnessing students open their hearts to Christ, form deep and lasting connections, and experience the power of God’s love in new ways. Watching our community come together so genuinely reminded me of how special it is to walk alongside others in faith. This retreat not only strengthened my relationship with God but also showed me the incredible ways He moves when we simply say “yes” to Him.
