Hoops Shoots and Hopes
On March 16th, Our Lady of Fatima 6th grader, Philomene Kirk continued her Elks Hoop Shoot journey in Valdosta, Georgia. She competed in the southeast regional competition shooting a humble 17/25 free-throws to advance to nationals! On Saturday, April 20th, in Chicago, IL, she will represent not only the Southeast Region 12, 10-11yr old division, but also the state of Mississippi, Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School, and the Biloxi Elks lodge #606. Thank you to Elks Lodge #606 and Mr. Rocky Sentell for providing this opportunity. Please Pray for Philomene and her family as they travel to Chicago on April 20th.
