St. Jospeh Altar Sacred Heart Pascagoula and RCES
Fr. Lalo, Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, blessed the Altar of St. Joseph. The students of RCES were present during the blessing and they listened a presentation about St Joseph and the tradition of the Altar.
On March 19, 2024 during the celebration of the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish in Pascagoula, MS., built an Altar dedicated to St. Joseph. Many people took part in assembling the Altar. Some people baked cookies, cakes, bread and different items were donated to be placed on the Altar. The students of Resurrection Catholic School, Elementary Campus, were part of the blessing of the Altar and each one of them received a bag with goodies, a prayer card, a medal of St. Joseph and fava beans. This has become a tradition for the Parish and the students of RCES.
