First Holy Communion at SHP
This weekend, our parish family rejoiced as our children received their First Holy Communion—a moment of profound grace in which they encountered the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. As always, the celebration was powerful, beautiful, and deeply moving for everyone present.
We lift up our prayers for all the children who received the Lord for the first time. May this encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist be the beginning of a lifelong friendship with Him. We lovingly invite their parents to continue nurturing their children’s faith, helping them grow in love, devotion, and trust in Christ.
For our entire parish, this celebration was also a moment of renewal—a chance to rekindle our own faith and hope in the promises of Jesus. Witnessing the joy of these young disciples reminds us of our mission to live as intentional disciples of Christ, carrying His presence into our families, workplaces, and community.
May the Eucharist continue to strengthen us, unite us, and send us forth as witnesses of God’s love.
