Blessing of the Signet Warhorse III at SIGNET MARITIME CORPORATION
On May 08, 2026, the maritime community of Pascagoula witnessed a moment of faith, tradition, and deep respect as the vessel Signet Warhorse III received a special blessing. The invitation was extended by one of the company’s own workers, a devoted Catholic parishioner of Sacred Heart, Mr. Ben Schoenberger, who wished to entrust the vessel and its crew to God’s protection.
Fr. Lalo Mora, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, was entrusted with performing the blessing of the vessel. The captain, Troy Jackson and Mr. Ben Schoenberger accompanied him as he walked throughout the entire vessel to bless it. Several crew members also approached and requested a personal blessing.
The ceremony was marked by reverence and heartfelt participation. A special word of gratitude goes to the captain Troy Jaksson of the Signet Warhorse III and the entire crew, whose kindness, seriousness, and genuine devotion were evident throughout the blessing. Their professionalism and openness to prayer reflected the strong spirit of unity that defines those who work upon the sea.
As the vessel continues its mission on the waters, we pray: May the Lord of heaven, earth, and the sea bless the Signet Warhorse III, guide its crew, and protect them from every danger and every evil. May their journeys be safe, their work fruitful, and their return home always joyful.
