Mom’s Back to School Retreat
As mothers, we are the primary instructors of our children in the faith. Regardless of your child’s educational setting (private, public, home), this retreat is designed to encourage and equip you for the school year ahead with a full day of prayer, learning, fellowship, and time to journal and/or plan. All school age mothers are welcome whether this is your first year or your 25th year heading back to school.
Keynote speakers: Fr. Clinton Sensat of the Diocese of Lafayette will speak on “The Purpose of Catholic Education” and “The Well Educated Mind.” Sr. Lynn McKenzie, OSB will speak on preparing children to know their vocation.
This retreat is hosted by Stella Maris Explorers and St. Michael Catholic Church.
