The Tabitha Project, a important ministry within the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi, is committed to integrating our brothers and sisters with special needs into the full life of the Church. This initiative offers a range of services, including Adaptive Sacramental Preparation, Inclusive Discipleship & Faith Formation, and Disability Training Opportunities for priests, catechists, and parishioners. Additionally, the project provides essential Support & Advocacy for parents and caregivers, and Integration Services to connect individuals and families to parish life. Community Engagement is fostered through newsletters and volunteer programs.

Recently, the Tabitha Project has relocated from the de l’Epee Deaf Center to the Chancery offices, aligning its operations more closely with the Offices of Faith Formation and Catholic Education. This transition ensures that the important work of Rachel Ryan, the Coordinator of the Tabitha Project, is supported through the Office of Evangelization, led by Ray Lacy.
