“Just One” Diaper Drive Supports Walking with Moms in Need

When Robin Hebert, a member of Sacred Heart Parish in D’Iberville, learned that the Walking with Moms in Need distribution center in Gulfport was experiencing a shortage of diapers for families in need, she responded with a simple idea: ask each person to donate “Just One.”
Robin Hebert invited members of the Sacred Heart Parish Rosary Group, Choir, and Thursday Bible Study to donate just one box of diapers, sizes 4 through 7. Through the generosity of parishioners, the groups collected more than 30 cases of diapers to help restock the shelves at the Walking with Moms in Need headquarters on 24th Avenue in Gulfport.
The donation was presented to Margaret Miller, diocesan coordinator for Walking with Moms in Need, where the diapers will be distributed to local parishes and ministries serving mothers and young children throughout the Diocese of Biloxi.
The “Just One” diaper drive is a reminder that small acts of generosity, when embraced by an entire parish community, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing difficult circumstances. By working together, Sacred Heart Parish continues to put faith into action, supporting mothers, children, and the dignity of every human life.
