Solemnity of St. Joseph at Sacred Heart Parish in Pascagoula

Each year, the community of Sacred Heart Parish and the students of RCES have the honor of celebrating the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church. After the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, parishioners and students processed to the Parish Hall for the Blessing of the Altar of Saint Joseph.

This year, the Grandparents Group lovingly prepared and arranged the Altar. Throughout the day, different RCES classes visited the Altar, where they received an explanation of its meaning, its purpose, and the reasons behind our devotion to Saint Joseph. As part of the celebration, each student received a gift bag containing a medal of Saint Joseph, a prayer card, and a blessed fava bean.
