DECREE OF PROMULGATION – regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence
The Diocese of Biloxi announces a new Decree of Promulgation from Bishop Kihneman establishing the Policy of the Diocese of Biloxi Regarding the Use of Artificial Intelligence, effective January 1, 2026.
This policy provides guidance to ensure the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence in the life, ministries, and offices of the Diocese. Clergy, religious, lay employees, volunteers, and all who serve within the Diocese of Biloxi are encouraged to review the policy carefully and become familiar with its principles and expectations.
The Diocese remains committed to using emerging technologies in ways that uphold human dignity, transparency, and the mission of the Church.
