St. Augustine Seminary, the first seminary in the U.S. to train Black men for the priesthood, celebrated its centennial Oct. 29 with a special Mass on the seminary grounds. Bishop Terry Steib, SVD, bishop-emeritus of Memphis, center, who is an alumnus of the seminary, was principal celebrant of the Mass, which was concelebrated by 8 bishops and nearly 80 priests. My name is Fr. Victor Ingalls. I am the Director for Multicultural Ministries for the Archdiocese of Mobile.

I am currently helping to coordinate a three day “Revival” for all of the black parishes in our Archdiocese as well as anyone else who would like to attend.

Just thought I would pass along an invite to you in our neighboring diocese. Perhaps there are some parishes in your neck of the woods that would enjoy participating. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
