SRE Children collect $900 for Morning Star Ministry
To mark October ProLife Month, children at the SRE program at St Thomas the Apostle in Long Beach filled baby bottles with spare change to support the work of Morning Star Ministry. On Sunday, November 10, Rachel Davidson of Morning Star Ministry met with the students to see that they had accomplished. The children presented her with baby bottles containing over $919.96. She explained to them how their work helped women and babies in our area.
In addition to $919.96 in bills and coins, the bottles held sixty cents Canadian, two Philippine Pesos, one 25 cent casino token, a five dollar Jamaican coin and two car wash tokens.
