Experiencing God’s Love: A Glimpse of Heaven at the National Eucharistic Congress
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.(Jn 1:5)
I knew Revival was coming- God promised it and He would do it.
He showed off just a little bit at the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis! We were completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of God’s love for His people…
But as it is written:
“What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard,
and what has not entered the human heart,
what God has prepared for those who love him, “
this God has revealed to us through the Spirit. (1 Cor 2:9-10)
God showed up in His glory and we were allowed a taste, a glimpse of Heaven.
The light of Christ shone in the darkness…
The light in the Lucas Oil Stadium could not compete with the light streaming from outside through an upper window reflecting directly on the Monstrance.
The light of Christ streamed and gleamed in the triumphant faces of the pilgrims from the four corners of the nation as they joined the assembly on the opening night.
The light was joyous and radiant in the faces of the many priests, deacons, seminarians, nuns of every order imaginable present.
The light burst forth through the testimonies of the presenters who shared their love of Christ and exhorted the Body of Christ to do the same.
The light rang out in the gift of music shared during worship and echoed back as the people of God sang beautifully in unison.
The light passed by on the streets of downtown Indianapolis causing knees to bend in reverence at the sight of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
The light danced with total abandon in the form of a child in front of the stage, reminding us that we are all dearly loved children of God.
The light reached out in faith as a couple touched the hem of the garment of the priest lifting Jesus high in the Monstrance as he processed around the stadium.
