While this “Requiem” was commissioned by a consortium of College\, High School and Church Choral programs to feature a twenty-first century treatment of the Requiem genre\, it was written to provide hope\, healing\, and comfort to “all” who have experienced the sting of loss while modernizing the treatment of both the text and the musical setting.The Music & Fine Arts Ministry of the Cathedral invites anyone who would like to submit a remembrance (name/s) to be listed in the program – to share them by Monday\, October 27th at noon to the email contact info site listed below. No donation is required to do this; but donations are tax deductible and graciously accepted.
